Its About Time!!!

I know, I know, I know. Its been almost two years since I last updated this. Honestly I would forget about it until someone told me that it was a disgrace and then 20 seconds later I would forget about it again. Ha Ha. Well, I remembered!
These last 2 years have been full of wonderful things, hard things, and fun things. Lets see.... The major highlights...We have been married for almost 2 years!!!!... Both of our grandmothers passed away... Our brothers came back from their missions-One from Philly-One from Taiwan...We have 4 new nieces and nephews(Kristin had twins)... the Broncos made it to the Fiesta Bowl AGAIN!!!...and Lucas has downed 2 more years of school, just a couple semesters left!!! I'm sure there is alot more but I will probably remember more later.

Officially Newlyweds!

Wow... Its been quite a ride! We are soo happy that we are finally husband and wife. From the wedding preparation to the actually day was fantastic. I think I only cried like twice. Thats good right? Haha. Really, it was so great to have all of our loved one around to support us. I'm pretty sure I owe my life to a couple people but they may just have to settle for some cookies and a thank you card, haha. It was great especially to have my family from North Carolina by my side. I love them so so much! Truly Lucas and I are so grateful for family. The new family and friends that we have come to love so much and the same family and friends we have always loved! Its funny how big occasions like weddings make you realize how much you have.. And we are rich. The temple was absolutely amazing and it truly is the most important part of the day(advice to future brides). Lucas and I are so lucky to have eachother. I'm just glad he said YES.. Haha. The luncheon was perfect and the food was amazing. Especially the sandwhich spread( Good Job Laci, Mom, and Kayla). Both Open House and Reception were exceptional..thanks to our family and friends. We are very lucky. Lucas planned an excellent honeymoon to Lake Tahoe. We stayed in a condo right on top of the moutain on California/Nevada border. We went on a dinner dance cruise on the Lake one night, we went to a couple movies everyday, we gambled a little shhh(we came out $90 on top!), ate at some excellent places and made breakfast every morning together. Ahhh.. Lovely. He's a dreamboat.. Since we have been back we moved into our apartment on campus and have been working away, trying to remember to put the dishes in the dishwasher (Holly) and trying to remember to put the toilet seat down(Ummm.. Lucas) hahaha. But all in all living the dream everyday. Love Love

Not Newly Weds Quite Yet!

I thought that since everyone I care about is all sorts of spread out, it would be a good idea to get this started! Lucas and I are ENGAGED! Woo hoo! Its a great story so I'm gonna tell it to you....

It was the first sunny day that Boise had seen in months! Lucas asked if we could go out for a day date and since thats not unusual I wasn't expecting the inevitable. (He's good at keeping his cool) We went to a really nice lunch at Cottonwood Grill which is a pretty fancy restaurant downtown. Still..... I am clueless... The lunch was muy bueno and very romantic. (We love eachother) He then suggested that we go and see the movie Fools Gold. On our way we passed the Boise temple he commented that he'd like to go there after cuz we hadn't been in a while. All through the movie he played with my ring finger(A little game we played in anticipation for what I thought was a couple of weeks away) We left the movie and drove to the temple. There were a group of youth there kind of milling around and Lucas was stalling saying he didn't want to interrupt anything that might have been going on( Nerves) After a minute they left and we walked around to the bench behind the Angel Moroni. He pulled out his camera and we took a couple pictures just playin around....keep in mind I'm still unsuspecting...He tells me he recieved a letter from a family on his mission that he wanted me to read. When he hands it to me....Its the comfirmation for our temple day! I start to cry(happy and relieved we got the date and time we wanted)...Out of my peripheral vision I see he's getting down on one knee and he opens the box. Inside is the most beautiful ring and he says"Holly, I love you, will you marry me?" Needless to say I was hysterically happy and crying and after a second final blurted out yes! Best moment of my life so far! Well Love You All!
